Oscar Wilde's Cell Door

£95.00

In 1895 Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) was sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour on the charge of gross indecency. Behind this cell door Wilde wrote De Profundis as a letter to his lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, on his allocated four sheets of paper per day.
